4.1        If you are a business customer or prospect, from time to time we may contact you with direct marketing communications by email or telephone (for example, to inform you of the availability of a new product line).  We do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in promoting our products and services to businesses who we believe will find them useful.

4.2        You can request that we stop direct marketing at any time by contacting us at admin@adcenergy.co.uk. Please specify whether you would like us to stop all forms of marketing or just a particular type (e.g. email).

5.        Third Party Websites and Services

In order to deliver our products and services to you we may, from time to time, employ the services of other parties which may include, but are not limited to, delivery of purchased items and payment processing. Information shared with such parties is limited to name, contact information, and communication preferences. Furthermore, any information that is processed by third parties must be processed within the terms of this privacy policy and in accordance with the relevant legislation.

8.2       The personal information you provide will be transmitted and stored on Google cloud based services using AES encryption technology for file transfers and storage, and will be password secured and protected on Google severs.     

 

8.3       Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

9.1       We will store your personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, as explained in this notice. In some circumstances we may store your personal information for longer periods of time, for instance where we are required to do so in accordance with legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting requirements.

 

9.2       In specific circumstances we may store your personal information for longer periods of time so that we have an accurate record of your dealings with us in the event of any complaints or challenges, or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation relating to your personal information or dealings.
